Hemlocks Studio Here I Come

First I say that I'm back, then I say that I'm going...well, that's my prerogative thank you very much. Off to art camp tomorrow a.m. Going to Brevard N.C. and then a little more. High in the mountains and far from cell phone towers and internet access. Therefore, dear reader, I'll be back in touch with you next week.

Hope to have some new work to show and lots of new enthusiasm and peace for the school year ahead. The job, never a quiet one, promises to be bumpy again this year, so I'll take this week of solace and brace myself.

D.D. left today for a girls' weekend in D.C. We are abandoning poor D. H. who is gimpy these days with a foot in a cast. Poor darling will be home with Nurse Dog Smiley and unable to drive a car. Our parting words to him, like MacArthur....We shall return!
