Elegant End of Week

I had the good fortune to be able to visit Lewisburg, WV and stay at the historic General Lewis Inn. Their website says:

Did you hear the sound of cannon fire? Oh, we didn’t mention that the General Lewis is located on the site of an 1862 Civil War Battle. Civil War and Revolutionary history lives around every corner of our historically preserved town.
The food was very good and the beds--old rope beds--were divine.
