CLOTH & CLAY @ Artworks

Well, folks I made it through the opening of my solo art show Friday night! It was a huge success (not monetarily, however) with over 100 people in attendance. Lots of old friends, lots of new friends, good eats, too.

I was asked to demonstrate how to make a clay monoprint so I brought all the clay and pigments and tools. But what made the how-to so terrific were the two helpers, Jack & Nick, ages 8 & 5, who already know a lot about making art.
I have created a web album and you can see it here:
I have received many words of congratulations and encouragement and that is its own reward. Thank you friends for coming out to the opening, and to long distance friends who check it via this blog.
