Student Quilts

Here are two new student fused quilts. LastAugust, a high school senior art class came to my home to have an afternoon of dyeing. (Scroll down the page to see the students at work with dye.)
During the course of the school year, some of the girls were able to use their fabric in fused quilts. At the top is Flame by Rachel 9x15 and below is Games by Sarah 24x24. There will be a few more pictures posted as I receive them. All the girls who made quilts had an innate understanding of how to use the fabric to convey their ideas of color and design. All were great first attempts at fused quilting.
Wheeling, WV has become an extension campus of the Chicago School of Fusing. I am passing on what I've learned from the masters.
