Clay monoprints
This posting is an attempt to gather together some of my previous posts that were buried in the archives. These are for Arlee and others new to my blog.
These are SO delicious! They seem a deeper penetration of colour than a regular monoprint. Is it several layers ie press/dry/press again in new/dry etc?
Printing on fabric is much the same, just depends on the end use you want---must use fabric specified paints or use regular acrylics for non wash items. I can't see there being any different tricks to it really; however if i am wrong, i'd be glad to learn more from your other more knowledgeable readers :}

How does it affect the texture and hand of the fabric?
It sounds interesting and the fabrics have interesting patterns and textures. What makes this process different to the usual monoprinting?
