First Sock

I have one sock. It is no big deal, I know, everybody's doing it! And of course now I can too. I need a break, so will work on the knitted vest for a few nights and that should finish it. Then over the weekend will cast on sock number 2 so that I will be ready for some help if I need it on Monday night at the library's knitting session.

Yahoo! I have a sock! Wore it to bed last night and had one warm foot. Posted by Picasa

Congratulations! You didn't mean that sock when you spoke of 'help'? It looks perfect to me! And in case you mean the lack of fancy pattern. Well, my socks used to look just like that the past 10+ years, before I discovered the knitting universe online and the endless ressources of sock patterns. Before, I wasn't even aware about that there were lacy or cabled socks!
