With a little Bippety-Boppety-Boo
I turned this little pumpkin into someone who passed right into the Ball. At least I had the good sense not to bare very much. On display at the Ball was too much old skin--fat, flabby, and white or scrawny, wrinkled and tan. The men were the sensible ones in their tuxes. Afterall, who doesn't look great in black slax and jacket? My friend Jane and I got the black and sparkle memo. Jane and family helped these country mice thru our stage fright while attending our first ever formal function. OMG what one can be persuaded to do for kids! Cinderella and her step sisters abounded, as did the step mothers! And shoes? We all tiptoed thru snow in strappy sandles with bread bags over them.
It was a lovely evening, eventho it began after my bedtime. Quite a spectacle for our little town and our little symphony. Now it's back to Fairy Godmother work--making magic a little at a time.

Looks like a lovely and festive affair, and I like you sparkles and black. Just right! Jen
