New Work

There is new work to show. Here are two really ugly clay prints that have been sliced and diced to make something new and hopefully not so ugly. This is just a first try. The Reemay that I use for the substrate doesn't glue, but holds up very nicely when stitched. The next post will have a second step where I incorporate failed clayprints into a fused art quilt. Interesting to try to blend the two techniques. You'll have to help me decide if they work together or not. Posted by Picasa

Oh, this definitely works! What is the size?

Happy Family photos are great too! The one with the funky edging would be great on the cover of a customized Christmas card.
