With thanks to my Muse & Mentor, Melody Johnson, I'm trying some new additions to this blog. Now I have links that work (thank you! thank you!) and a list of my current projects & passions. Have just found the html for books I'm reading, but unfortunately, these are not the books I'm reading! Hopefully, I will be able to learn how to insert my favorites by tomorrow.
The books I am reading include The Knitting Stitch and The Purl Stitch. The Newbery & Caldecott Award winners have been announced, so I hope to read them when they arrive at the library. I'm finished with Janet Evanovich's #5, and need to read something a little different. I just discovered that two of my favorite medieval mystery writers have new additions to their series--Margaret Frazer and Fiona Buckley--yumm. But, these are new, cost $$ and not yet available for Interlibrary loan. I'll have to plot and plan about how to get these two new books. Meanwhile, I'll see what's hot at home. Marc and Sarah always have the best books!
But eventhough the house is full of books and and music and other wonderful temptations, none of us will be reading or listening anything in the near future. How has our schedule gotten so out of control??!! Could be that there is a 16 year old in the house who is involved in everything, a father whose job should be reclassified as professional volunteer, and a mom who is filling in for everyone at work because they are dropping like flies. Whew! I'm looking forward to Sunday, and it's only Tuesday. One last try tonight to post a picture with this blog, then to work!

Karoda is now not the only person in blogosphere to read your blog (not that she ever was. You never know who's watching!). I'm still perusing your site...much to see! Hi. My name is Michele.
Cheryl, does your hubby perform at storytelling fests? We have one here that I think is one of the longest running festivals called the Corn Island Storytelling Festivals. I'm a terrible story teller myself but I love to see folks spin their yarns.
