Starting with a Clean Slate

I can finally say that I have finished 3 fused quilts begun before Christmas. Nothing like a deadline to make me complete a project, or three. It's almost time for one of the big quilt shows here in Wheeling, WV, one that I did quite well in last year. So I have new pieces for the show which have been posted elsewhere on this blog, but here are the ones completed last week.

Also, great news for this novice, I sold my first 3 (indeed 3 is my magic number!) fused quilts over the holidays.

Lots of ideas are perculating, both fused art quilts as well as traditional quilts, so I hope to keep up the work, a little every day or so. Those of you who have the luxury of hours everyday in your studio, please enjoy those hours. This thing called a fulltime job really cuts into my creative hours.
