Major Mojo

I received one of the best gifts ever in yesterday's mail. An envelope from the WV Division of Culture and History was waiting for me with the notice that one of my clay monoprints has been accepted for the 2005 West Virginia Juried Exhibition! My FIRST juried art show! I am now, at age 53, a visual artist! Wow.

Of course I know selection was influenced by Karoda's Major Mojo, and I am very grateful to her!

On other artful topics, all quilting has stopped. The machine and I are feuding! It's at the shop so that I don't get physical and throw it against a wall or something.

Now I'm reluctant to cut into the pieces you sent me...cutting them maybe like throwing away the winning lottery ticket. ;)

Congratulations YOU!
