Mother's Day 2005, Visiting Phoenix, AZ

Here we are! Another of SJ's and Mom's Totally Awesome Adventures. We were in Phoenix for a week participating in the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair along with 1447 students from 41 countries. The future of science and engineering is in mighty capable hands judging from these amazing young people & the work they have accomplished so far.

Mostly we ate Mexican, sat by the pool, shopped and walked, and walked, and walked! Great fun being together.

Very cool! I'm glad your daughters out there showing folks (like Harvard's president) that women are highly talented in the sciences too!
