Grand Marshall

Today my family is preparing to make its annual summer visit to Union City, Indiana, Marc Harshman's hometown. There will be family reunions on both sides of the bloodline, a wedding, an 80th birthday and a parade.

Marc has been asked to be the Grand Marshall in this year's Farmers & Merchants Parade--local boy makes good, finds fame (if not fortune) in the big world and returns home victorious atop a convertible. All kidding aside, it is a real pleasure for Marc to have been asked. He will be autographing his books at the Union City Public Library before the parade.
